After Learn-to-Scull
What’s Next?!

While DWRA is primarily a sculling club (using two oars per person) you will hear the word “rowing” (with one oar) used interchangeably with “sculling”.  At DWRA it means getting out on the water.

After learning the basics, you may feel eager for more time on the water but not quite ready to venture out on your own. Lessons with DWRA certified coaches will help build not only your technical skills but your self-confidence, too. Lessons are scheduled by appointment and may include video analysis. By far lessons are the quickest way to progress to that next skill level.

VOYAGEURS :  By request, a list of rowers of similar skill level may sign up for a series of group lessons called Voyageurs.  This is a fun way to get together and explore the area while gaining skills in navigation and boat speed. Group lessons include a minimum of 5 rowers and are led and instructed by a DWRA coach. Once a list of 5 is established (and paid) the rowers arrange their own lesson schedule together and with the coach. Contact Coach Renee to be added to the list!
